I Cast my Vote, May 10, 2010

It was my third time to participate in the election. I woke up early. I took a shower and readied myself for a long journey to Cavite. I rode a bus that would lead to where I would take another bus. When I reached the Aguinaldo Highway, they said that the road to the DasmariƱas town proper was closed. So, I walked a long way towards the Iglesia ni Cristo church where I got my sample ballot. I walked back to the road towards Aguinaldo Highway. I was half-way there when I saw a jeepney that could take me to the precinct.I have been voting here for the past three presidential races. I voted fro Erap in the first time. In the second time, I voted for Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Now, I voted for Noynoy Aquino. He is now presently the one leading in the counts.

My religion wrote the same people in the ballot. It never matter to us who won. What matters was we were united in the eyes of God in our judgment. It was important that we do our roles as citizen of this country--pay taxes and elect people to government positions. However, we do it because we believed that it was how God has mandated us to do.In the Bible it was stated as "give to Caesar, what is due to Caesar." That was all that was all about. We were never repressed in our rights to speak out or to elect who we thought was good for the future. It was enough that we had done our part. What was important was that we were given the only freedom that we wanted--it was the freedom to practice what we believe would liberate us from the transgressions on this lowly life on earth. We vote not because we were told to do it. We vote to follow God's commands.
Nevertheless, Philippines now used the automated system of counting votes. It made the counting of votes fast and a lot easier. Now, it seems that Noynoy Aquino is our new President-elect.

The policemen and soldiers were watchful outside the precincts and were trying to keep the people safe from the violence that could be brought about by crazy people who wanted to grab power by cheating

The people in my precinct were writing

My ballot was being run to the PCOS machine

Liberal party and Others had Meeting de Avance, May 8,2010

The Liberal Party had their meeting De Avance last may 8, 2010. They were gathered at the Quezon City Circle. They said that the city was the bailiwick of the Noynoy Aquino-Mar Roxas tandem, hence they chose this place for their meeting de avance.

My favorite Jewels

If I were to choose a favorite, I prefer those that were made by Chinese. I remembered that when I was young, my mom gave me a set of earrings, bracelet     and earring made of Chinese gold. They have intricate designs. They were lovely. They were also expensive. It was, however
, lost to some buyer because we needed money after our parents died. Nevertheless, I am positive that I could be able to buy jewelry again. Time will come and it won't take forever.
